How do I add a digital download to a product?

Open the Granted Assets app in your Shopify admin, go to Products, and select the product you want to attach a file to. Upload your file and save — it will be delivered automatically after purchase.

When does the customer receive their download link?

Customers get their download links immediately after checkout, and again in their order confirmation email.

My customer says the download link has expired. What should I do?

Download links expire after a set period. You can resend a new link from the Orders section — search for the order and click "Resend download link."

What file types are supported?

All file types are supported — including PDF, ZIP, MP3, MP4, PNG, JPG, EPUB, DMG, and more.

How large can my files be?

On the Free plan, files can be up to 100 MB. On the Pro plan, files can be up to 2 GB.

Can I limit how many times a file can be downloaded?

Yes. You can set download limits and expiry rules in the app settings.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Are my files still there?

Yes. Your files and settings are retained for 30 days after uninstalling. Reinstalling within that period restores everything.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

You can cancel by uninstalling the app or switching to the Free plan in billing settings. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the billing period.
